A child lacking self-confidence paints a picture and her spirit is lifted. A troubled adult expresses his feelings through a story and he gains a better understanding of himself. A woman in a correctional facility performs in a play and hope begins to replace despair. Art changes lives, and that is what partners Unlimited is all about—transforming lives through the creative arts.
Organized in 2001, partners Unlimited provides experiential learning through the arts for individuals who are at risk of delinquency or criminal behavior. In the process, participants are lifted to the realization of their potential, and are then able to envision the importance of interacting positively with their communities. Like Patch Adams, we believe that the health of an individual cannot be separated from the health of the family, community and the world.
